This was a clever use of Lightwire to make an animation of a woman flashing her blouse which was presented by 3-way sequencer with a 'flashing' Lightwire display. The female figure was stitched on a separate piece of cloth and then frame by frame, covered with Lightwire. The finished piece was attached to the back of a jacket. Shown here is the beginning stage of stitching wire to figure outline.
Black Rock Astronomical Society
A special Lightwire "jacket patch" was made for the Black Rock Astronomical Society that was incorporated into their camp "uniform". The Lightwire detail combined an image of Burning Man with the Orion constellation embedded against his body outline. The Lightwire image was attached to black fabric, which in turn was attached to the lab coat.
